Disappointed that the Blu-Ray is the same as
the dvd release. Was really hoping that they
would do a commentary with crew or a film
historian for this release - plus making of,
etc.

Hi Karen, Can your upload or paste a link to
view the photos, maybe on Flickr.com or other
photo hosting site. That would be great if you
could. Thank you

My father is in this film! He is in the cable
car with the group going up to the castle! Not
with Clint Eastwood or Richard Burton! He was
working in the Props Dept! I have some nice
photos of him with the cast!

I just saw a beautiful picture outtake of Mary
Ure dressed in a white paratrooper outfit with
a parachute. The picture was on EBAY and
probably shows her after she landed in the
snow. WE are missing a lot from Where Eagles
Dare

How much of the film was left out of the
original movie?

I went with my late father to see this film at
Grimsby ABC in 1969 and it has remained one of
my favorite war films ever since.Must have
watched it more than a dozen times and never
got bored with it.I am now 60 and look forward
to the next time that I can watch it.
