It seems now, we only have the Laservision
version of the film which includes the
intermission etc... Blu-Ray is a let down for
all fans of the film.... Disappointing
especially for the fortieth anniversary of the
film....

I just sent the idiots at warner video an
e-mail bitching them out about the re-release
of the movie that STILL does not contain the
WHOLE movie ! If you feel the same go to
www.warnervideo.com and do the same !

Got my blu-ray version of Eagles in advance of
the release date via mail order! In all honesty
the BR is very disappointing to say the least!
Very grainy picture and worst of all the
original intermission has been omitted! Do the
studios ever listen to us film fans? One good
point though the sound track is rather punchy.
Stick with the DVD much better picture
quality! Steve a friend of Neil Thompson.

I saw it short after the premiere 1969 in
Stockholm. I can see it over and over again.

I first saw this movie at school in 1980! It
was christmas, and our year group were brought
into the assembly hall to watch the movie. It
was brilliant. Seen it numerous times since.

"Then these men are, who they say they are!"
Brilliant! Must have watched upwards of 30
times! Still remember first time, about 40
years ago!

First saw this movie in 1969 at a drive-in
movie in VA. One of the best war flicks ever
made! Great actors and location!!!

Love this film, I escape into it many times.
Was fortunate enough to see it on the big
screen again a couple of years ago. There wasnt
a seat left in the house.
